Finally its here

After waiting such a looooooong time, and after ranting about it in my previous post, the offer letter from University of Adelaide is here. Yipeeeee. And it came in with another letter or statement which they called it PCI. Don't really remember what the P and C stands for but i think the I stands for Infectious. (The PCI thingy is actually about your Hep B and C status and also about your HIV status). That letter was so long that i gave up reading it half way and decided to just sign the damn thing.

So the first reaction when i got my letter was..... SHOCK. The fees was so high, beyond my wildest imagination, way off from the estimate given. Die la. And later on i got so worried about it. Luckily Renee console/comfort me and asked me not to worry about it, and so did my parents.

Next reaction after reading through the letter....... I miss everyone le, like my family, my doggy, my friends, my house, my room, my cute teddy bear my mum bought me when i was a kid and still keeping it and many more. I am leaving an environment that i am very familiar with to a whole new land of the unknown. Haih already having such feelings, wonder what will happen in the Airport, CRY LOUD LOUD and don't stop like when i was a kid hehehe.

Anyway so far i have settled my plane ticket, and i would be flying on the............. na tell later la i think it is still early now. All i need to do now is to treasure every moment and not think about flying off.

Pantang la

Ok this will be my 14th post because according to the "ang moh" having the number 13 on a friday is very pantang one, remember Friday the 13th the movie where many many people died. Like died in a horrible way. So i am adding this one more post making it the 14th post.

But then according to the Chinese the number 14 is also pantang. In fact any number related to the number 4 is very pantang for the Chinese. So pantang that in a tower like my office here, there is no Floor number 4 but you will find Floor number 3A substituting the number 4. So i already have the 15th post ready to be posted hahahahahaha so no more bad numbers stuck there in my blog.

Ok i know this is a bit stupid and all but don't mind me ok. When you are on holiday and have too much time in hand, sometimes you might think about all this pantang stuff. hehehehe

Historical Pictures

No it is not the type of historical pictures of our forefathers fighting for independence and no it is not the pictures of ancient Egyptian and their great pyramids. These are pictures of my friends and me during our days in IMU Bukit Jalil. Most of it are taken when we were in Sem 4 but some were taken during the days before EOS 5. So i think this can be categorise as historical pictures since it is almost 7 months ago and some of it are more than 7 months. Oh and all the pictures i have here are actually found in my cell phone.

Picture post 2 - Europe

Ok i shall continue from my previous post with pictures from Europe. First i would like to clarify that i actually skip lots of pictures which i took in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg primarily cause the scenery i took from Germany was breathetaking and since i showed those pictures first, might as well followed up from there hehehe.

Those pictures i showed earlier in Austria and later on in this post are all taken at the city of Innsbruck. I think the city held the Winter Olympics before but i dunno which year was it. So enjoy this picture post.

The entire city of Innsbruck is actually located at the foot of the Alps and it is surrounded by it, so you could always see the Alps when you are in the city. Wonder how the scenery would be like if it is winter?


This is my Lunch in Innsbruck. It is Fish and Chips i think but yea i didn't eat it in London which one of my friend said i should. I ate it in Innsbruck.


And this is the restaurant where i ordered my Fish and Chips. Recommended by one of the people joining the tour who so happens to be from IMU pharmacy batch P1 intake.

Next are the pictures of the villages located on the Alps itself(not surrounded by it but on it) and boy it is really breath taking. Really would like to visit some of the villages next time. But where should i stay....... in the barn? Anyway enjoy.

I WANT TO RANT RANT AND RANT

Ok i am not mad so i don't need to see a psychologist. Generally i think is time i do some complaining or ranting of my own just for the fun of it. Not like if i don't rant i will die but i just wanna make my blog more interesting. You know some "Drama" like all those stories i've watched on TV and heard somewhere out there which is almost comparable to the soap drama on TV. And in a Drama some people need to rant or complain a bit or maybe B*tch a bit hehehe.

Ok first, i shall rant about my offer letter (the main thing i am complaining about). I will keep it short.

1. Before i go UK got an email asking us to apply for their Uni. So i did and i told them i am going to UK for like a month. They panic and said the offer letter will come like very Fast and Furiously. I panic, faeces(a polite way of saying Sh*t) what if i miss the deadline. In the end i dunno how we sort it out and i left for UK.

2. Came back from UK offer letter not here yet, so i waited for hmm lemme count (August, September, October and November) 4 months. Last i heard was they say it will come out 2 weeks ago. So i wait lo............... Eh nowadays they so high tech one, paper they make invisible already. Geez i must have just crawled out from a cave or something.

You see la wait for one letter that said you are offered a place in our uni, we start at "GOD KNOWS WHEN" and you have to Pay this much, and they take forever to do it. The latest news is that they are waiting for the name for the M2 batch then they will send over the letter (WHAT?! thats just great, just keep waiting, waiting and waiting!) I've been wanting to get the letter fast primarily i want to get cheap air tickets, but at this time i should be laughing if the air ticket is not 3K++ and MAS ticket is now already at 3K++. How?. Thought of flying with Air Asia but then they don't have direct flight to Adelaide. So i actually calculated the cost of taking Air Asia to Melbourne and then from Melbourne i take a train to Adelaide (its cheaper you know), but mum and dad object to this. Say i should not suffer for my first trip abroad alone. So i check out Singapore Airline and luckily the price is at 2k++ only (Thank you, [starts lauging]). Bad part, i have to stop over at Singapore and wait at the airport, then from there i continue my journey to Adelaide. Sigh.

So much trouble just because of the letter being late. I also eyed for Matta fair tic but now it is all gone, GONE! So much for the letter coming Fast and Furiously.

Next i shall rant about........ oh wait i have nothing else to rant. Guess i have one stuff to rant about after all hahahahaha.

Of Beautiful Weather and Typhoon.

The weather was plain hot on Saturday and i was sitting in my study room clear of all those med books, surfing the web with my newly installed wireless (Muahahahahaha i got wireless at home i am still very happy and hype over it) ahem.

The study room was so hot and there i wonder. Why can't it rain to bring down the heat. Some more its a Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday, means i can sleep late again. If it rains now then the temperature in my room would be cool enough for me to sleep till 11am.

Then within a few minutes the weather changed. Dark clouds started gathering followed by a loud thunder. So i look up to see if it is really going to rain, and there it was just as i wish, it is going to rain. (sing song faster: its raining, its pouring, the jungle man is singing [shout like tarzan]) ahem i didn't do the singing by the way.

And now i started cursing that of all times it has to rain, it gotta be right now. My lap top is still under going Defragmentation le, after hit by thunder how? (see no rain rant, rain coming rant also.) Anyway to cut the story short, the rain just pour all of a sudden without any warning. It is not a gradual thing. It is like a sudden big down pour and it took a bad turn where big gush of wind started blowing (i tell you if Si Ling go out at that time i think the wind will blow her all the way to UK already), lightning strike here and there like in the movie War of the World.

I thought that we were hit by a Typhoon, or maybe the end of the world is here, but it is just a thunder storm in the end, so no worries. See how the weather have changed. The thunder storm even flooded my garden/porch/recreation place whatever you people call it these days.

Then all of a sudden the storm started to calm down and the rain stop altogether. Next is the hard part, cleaning!. Have to do cleaning after having the wind blowing all the dust and dirt into our yard/garden/porch/recreation area, aaaargh, and the roof was leaking, so i need to wipe the wet floor (luckily nothing was blew off) before someone slip and fell.

Alright i think that is enough for this post la, i need to go back to my studies before i give everything back to my lectures.

(My letter from Adelaide is still not here yet. So what is the learning outcome from this, figure it out yourself)

Coffee Beeeeeeeean

Its Saturday again and boy does time flies fast. I felt like its just Monday yesterday and next week Monday is already looming. Since time is going by so fast lets talk about the past (Friday) shall we???

Friday as usual was a working day for me. Go work early in the morning at 9am, sit in the office and wait for work to be passed to us and not to mention picking up calls (those annoying, F*#ck calls which sometimes makes you go berserk). When it comes to lunch hour i would usually camp it out in office, bringing my well packed lunch from home and eat it in the office conference room, but on this very Friday (yesterday of course) Renee wanna belanja makan (she said that very long ago), so i took up the offer. At first i suggested roti canai la since cheap ma but she don't want, she said got promo in San Francisco steak house where the set lunch is RM 9++(happens a very very very very long time ago). So to cut the story short after saying it for so long finally on this very Friday we went to KLCC for lunch again. I suggested pizza but then kind Renee after knowing i have never drank Starbucks or Coffee Bean before took me to Coffee Bean for lunch (well of course in between the eating part and the looking for food part is another whole new story to be told). So here i am having lunch in Coffee Bean for the very first time and i drank my very first cup of Mocha from Coffee Bean.

Well so sorry for not taking the picture of the drink before i drink it. Only realize that i should at least have a picture after drinking that much.

So in the end i end up getting a very nice meal and feeling bloated (thanx to the cream added into the Mocha). So THANK YOU again RENEE hahahaha.

i vow to never have cream in my Coffee anymore though it taste nice.

Haih since i am so free nowadays (i did study CVS just not very productive only) i think i should blog more. So far my only fans is none other than Renee Lee Ren Ping. Yes Ren Ping got a a English name. Don't play play and she has been using it in office telling our client her name. So people, call her Renee ok.

Anyway this is a picture post. I can't guarantee that there will be lots of pictures in this post, cause i might get lazeee half way through and the pictures will mostly be pictures i took in Europe. So enjoy.

After visiting the castle, we took the bus, cross the border of Germany and enter Austria, home to some of the most famous musician in the world (forgot their names sorry). Anyway on our way around the Alps we stop by a beautiful place. It is really mesmerizing and relaxing if you have the time to lazee around, but the bad part...... it is laden with Cow Poo. So smelly.

Look a Cake. Soooo Big. It is actually a house ok (if you do believe me than i am really speechless). But it do look like a cake and the tour guide called it "the house that looks like a cake".


And finally a house where the roof is made of GOLD. Wonder if i could scrap it out and sell the golds. Just wondering hehehehe.

Well i am lazeee already. So i leave this post with this many pic first. Maybe next time i put more pictures.

Bored

Another day at work doing nothing (Pray that my boss don't see this). Wanted to study, like read up my stuff such as CVS since i think there is posting in Cardiology during my first year in Adelaide. But sometimes you just don't wanna study especially when there is some particular aunty who is ever so annoying asking you to do this and that and in the end you will not have the time to really concentrate and read, not to mention the aunty bragging when she see that you are studying. So now i am bored, having nothing to do.


So what i do when i am bored. Blog lo. But i don't have any idea on what to blog unless i rant la. So guess i will rant after all and rant about what, my offer letter lo. Haih i got an email saying that the offer letter will be send to us this week, and as of Wednesday the letter is still no where to be seen. I thought that it will come on Monday or Tuesday since we need to make payments and all this have to be done during the weekdays where the banks are opened, but no it is still not here yet. Lets just wait until Friday and see if it is out. I am now hypothesizing that whoever who needs to sign the Letter must have some joint problem in the fingers, either Osteo or Rheumatoid arthritis but i think Rheumatoid is more likely since it affect the smaller joints first.

Oh and talk (ranting) about those annoying sales person. I tell you, this sales person are from the same company but they keep coming to the same place over and over again. Each time they represent a different branch somewhere in PJ la, USJ la, KL la, etc. The worst was that the same company have sales person coming to our office twice in a row and each of them are from a different branch. Hallo don't you people actually share the information? With computer this days, a client info can be shared at all the branch offices you have right. Must you come and keep annoying us.

Haih enough ranting la. November is here and it so happens to be my last month here working, and the biggest lesson i learned is that money doesn't come by easily (no money don't grow from trees or fall from the sky ok you rich brat). The amount of hard work and stress during work is something that could change one person from being a big spender to being super thrifty (unless again you are rich so working basically doesn't change your perspective). Enough said, countdown starts now. I think i got 18 days more of work. I THINK.

Work

Its Sunday (so fast) and tomorrow is Monday and i am having the Monday blues now on a Sunday. Too early? The thought of going back to work and type those documents are a bit boring (sit at my place whole day look at the computer and type) but i don't really do that, i think my job is more to picking up phone calls and all. Sometimes i do, do typing for my boss and some aunty who doesn't know how to use a computer but said she has a super "chunted" computer from America that seems to be able to do everything (which she is using)


Yea guess i am back to work tomorrow like it a not, but i will be going back to my university first. Need to get something done from the student service office. Oh and since it is November, i think is about time i seriously study for my clinical years.
