Seremban Trip

Seremban, the town i never visit in my entire life cause according to dad, it is a place with no tourist attraction (literally translate to "no good food to eat") and it is a boring place. But i went anyway on Monday with Ren Ping to visit our friends and to go "kepoh" some stuff back since we are so bored sitting at KL doing nothing. This time we are smart, we drove from IMU (the waiting point) to Seremban cause the KTM experience was....... too "traumatising" for us when we went down last time. So who drove? Of course is Ren Ping la. She asked me to drive her car but i said i will do so if she signed a paper that state that if there is any damage to her car I AM NOT LIABLE hahahahaha and because of her refusal to sign so she drove throughout the journey.

Of course the true purpose going down to Seremban is not to "kepoh" stuff la. I don't think we are that bored to do so and if i am really bored i think i will just go watch a movie or enjoy my hobby (sleep). For Ren Ping she went down to Seremban to hand over her letter to some people in Seremban Hosp asking to do attachment there on January for a week. For me i just want to meet up with my friends before i go off to Aussie and of course for Qian Bao's birthday celebration which she is suppose to cook (but she did not cause her house ran out of GAS)

Took some pictures with my friends (smart ones, funny ones, screaming ones etc) and also some real obscene pictures which i am thinking whether i should actually post it up here. It is not just one obscene picture but maybe 2 or 3 of it. Haih those Seremban fellas i think they are too bored of studying till they decided to play "making obscene scene" during people's birthday. Anyway lets have pop quiz. "What happens when your camera falls in the hand of a person who have claimed the award Cam-whore Queen?"

Jo jangan la malu....... hahahahaha

Wonder what this bunch of guys are doing

Cheek aka the cat.... why open mouth so big?

The very high girl that nite (haven't drink alcohol already so high)

i don't know why the finger is there... i think is Jer Ming's one

The Food serve at the restaurant/cafe was nice and it was cooked by Ang Moh (the pizza only) i forgot what is the restaurant's name but it is somewhere in Seremban, near Tesco.

And of course there will always be games to entertain a few people. See how these two people are so deeply into the game they are playing

and the guy who lost twice and won once in the game made a "peace" sign hahahaha.

Then it was time to cut the birthday cake, bought from Secret Recipe and it is an entirely a chocolate cake.

Well the cake is nice but if you look carefully i think someone ate part of the cream off the cake, i do wonder who ate the cake before having the birthday girl cutting the cake. (or it might be the cake coming into contact with box that carries it... so it explain the "lost" part)

So after cutting the cake, making a wish or maybe wishes, its time to torture the birthday girl (wonder if this is tradition or just maybe their batch tradition) and what did the birthday girl did....... well it is quite obscene la, she said no pictures here so i think no pictures la. After destroy her prospect of getting a husband. After all the cutting cake, torturing the birthday girl and eating cake, the camwhore session officially begins.

Ek Guan here, the guy who helped me a lot during my 2.5 yrs study in IMU

This is the Baozzz family (Kay Por Bao not here though)

After the cam-whoring session, everyone decided to go to Qian Bao's house to give her another surprise (put it in other words, the torture session haven't officially end yet). This surprise sure is big hahahaha. Almost put the all time Qian Bao mummy to tears.

The culprit and his weapon

To make a long story short, Qian Hui got her face decorated with cream, almost cried, wash up, Ding Yang decided to express her love to Jer Ming then a big U turn occur where everyone decided to decorate Jer Ming's face too with the cream he is holding in the picture.

So the birthday party ended with Qian Hui thanking everyone, then we ate a fruit (i don't know what it is called in English) Yap brought for us an guess who was slicing it to be served?

Ling Ling Bao!!!!

LOL, it was a fun trip considering that most of the people who can bring Ren Ping and i around is on Family Med posting which according to them is a damn free posting. So since these people (Dorothy and TJ) is so free and due to Ren Ping wanting to go Port Dickson (i also want to go too), so after the party end we drove all the way to PD and actually spend sometime at the beach. Well at least before i fly off to Adelaide, i get to go to the beach.

The Bar in the Hotel by the beach

Those are the pictures we took in PD. Hahahahaha finally get to see the night sky full of stars. So i guess this concludes the trip to Seremban, of course there is more stories the next day but it is a real boring story. According to Ren Ping, Seremban is a dead city at night (no cars on the road) and it is so bored till u can get muscle cramp. Good Luck Ren Ping with your 1 week attachment there hahahaha

P.S. I have one more week till i leave for Adelaide and i am so not ready.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is around the corner (actually it is this Friday), so maybe i should have some Christmas picture posted up here. As usual there is always a Christmas tree for Christmas, lots of presents underneath and if you have a fire place, there would be socks hanging there as Santa Claus is suppose to come down from the chimney.
Those were the decorations at home but i don't celebrate Christmas la and i don't have a fireplace with chimney, so i don't have those decorations. Besides if i were to put a Christmas tree in my living room i think my mummy would scream at me saying "How am i to wipe the floor if your tree is there? Clean up, put it outside" hahahahah. Anyway doing the deco for Christmas would be a lot of work and putting it away after that would also be a lot of work too. So i don't do Christmas deco. Rather sleep zzzzzzzzzzzz.
Despite me not doing the decoration for Christmas, we can still feel the Christmas mood in major shopping malls in KL and even the "ang moh" wanna take pictures of it hehehe. First off, Times Square.

The decoration in Times Square. It wasn't complete at the time i took the picture

The Christmas Tree at the entrance of Times Square. It is also not fully operational when i took the pic.

Next we shall look at Pavillion's Christmas deco and it is really a "WOW" kinda of decoration. If they were to held a competition for the best Christmas decoration, i think Pavillion would have won. Just one word to describe the decoration. GRAND.

The deco at the main atrium of Pavillion. Pic taken from (i don't remember which Floor)

Another picture of the main atrium of Pavillion

The deco seen from the main entrance of Pavillion

Where is Santa Claus?

Next would be the decoration done outside Pavillion. Wow they even decorate the compound outside, really making it feel more like Christmas.

The final picture would be the Christmas decoration in Midvalley megamall. It is simple yet nice.

The deco at the Centre court of Midvalley

So here you have it the Christmas decoration in KL's shopping malls. Haven't seen the one in KLCC though. I think they would most probably put up the giant Christmas Tree again. Now am wondering if the Aussie do such decoration for Christmas. (Now am looking forward to the Chinese New Year decoration can someone snap pictures for me to see)

The inevitable

It is ineveitable that i am about to leave soon. Checking the calendar on the side of my computer screen shows that i would be leaving in 2 weeks and 3 days time (not counting this week of course).

Already i show signs of homesick even when i am not abroad yet. Oh how i'm going to miss every single thing in my house, the tv, the load of tv programmes i can watch, the ever delicious ready meal prepared for dinner, my comfortable bed, my parents, my aunt, my sister and of course the ever cute lil dog of mine which i love to disturb when i got bored.

I am both excited and scared i suppose, that i am going abroad. Excited cause i am going to a whole new place (who would not be excited when you learn that you are going to a whole new place, new world, meet new friends and new people and have a total different experience). Scared cause...... I am travelling alone. My first time doing it and it doesn't really help when Renee was saying that how i am going to miss my transfer plane and how i am going to call her and complain for not listening to her advice. Oh and it doesn't help either with the various scary stories i heard from my dad about how a simple journey like travelling and arriving on an airport is such a dangerous thing to do. Gosh airport is so scary le.

But right now is more to treasuring every single moments with my parents and love ones. I don't think i should complain much here cause i told Renee once that this is our choice and we should not complain about our choice. We chose to walk this journey and so we should not complain about it and finish walking this journey of ours cause there will be no turning back and if we were to turn back........ well you know waste marney (donate to me la if you got so much marney to waste) and waste your "Qing Chun" (youth for those who can't make it out or am a Bana...... you know what i mean).

Vatican City

After so long neglecting this blog(sorry la was on vacation), here i am continuing my post on my tour of Europe. In Europe most of the time we would be walking from one tourist spot to another. Initially you will be energetic and gets happy seeing a new historical building, churches and site, but try doing tat from say 9 am all the way to 1pm in the afternoon where you get to rest for lunch and continue on after say 1 to 1 and a half hour of lunch. I think many of us would be tired by then, especially if the weather is dreadfully hot (it is so hot in Italy and Paris). So if you want to do some slimming down or reduce weight go to Europe for a tour cause trust me you will be walking A LOT. Ok lets cut short on the talking and have a look at the majestic Vatican City.

The building i saw when we were entering Vatican city

The Swiss guard
The basilica standing on the St Peter's square.

I think this is the Church, (actually i forgotten what building is this) inside it are many works of arts and sculptures of previous Popes and also an Altar for people to pray.

I think that would be the Office of the Pope (i also forgotten what building this is)

Well i think it is pretty obvious that it is statues placed outside and the middle one i think would be the insignia of Vatican City, see the 2 keys.

Next would be a quick tour of the inside of the church(the 4th picture) where it is filled with works of art and sculptures. As i am not an art student and i don't really know much of the history of each of the art pieces, i shall only show the pictures.

The entrance into the church

The painting found on top, at the ceiling. So nice (i wonder how they do it)

Another ceiling with amazing paintings on it

The altar for people to pray.

Yet another ceiling with painting (seriously how they do those nice painting on there?)

The insignia of the Vatican City

Finally i shall end the post with the picture of the Swiss guard up close. Guess what their uniform is actually designed by Michaelangelo himself. Ok gurls go admire and see if they are "leng chai" a not.

Guess this post make up the weeks i neglected my blog.
